即將於15日率團前往祕魯、參加亞太經合會（APEC）的我方經濟領袖代表宋楚瑜，昨（11）日與總統蔡英文行前見面。宋楚瑜表示，將把過去擔任省長的「3P」經驗帶往APEC與其他國家分享，3P分別為「public、private、partenership」。
至於與大陸國家主席習近平的互動，宋楚瑜強調，並未獲蔡英文總統授權談及政治議題，此行定位是經貿活動。
蔡總統昨日特別叮囑宋楚瑜，期間了解各國領袖對新國際局勢的看法。宋楚瑜會後召開記者會時表示，他與習近平、其他國家領導人會有自然互動的機會，但在政治議題上，並沒有獲得總統授權。
不過，宋楚瑜特別強調，不會放棄任何機會，不只是跟對岸領導人，和其他東協等經濟體領導人一起探討台灣可以提供的合作方案。
至於宋楚瑜和其他國家領袖的會談安排，他說，將會有7次重要發言及3次餐會機會，後者分別與經濟領袖晚宴，另一個是午宴與21國領導人在大型圓桌用餐並交換意見；最後是婦女權益保障的早餐會，美方重要官員將會出席。宋楚瑜指出，此行主要是談經濟，「會議只會多，不會少」。
